Guimarães, where Portugal was born in 1128 by the sword of our first king Afonso I (D. Afonso Henriques). The city center was classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO and you will be amazed with all the historical buildings and details along the city.
And Braga, the city of archbishops, with 2000 years of history, since the roman times, where one of the most important roads in Iberia was located. Braga was founded by Augustus and it was called “Bracara Augusta”.
The Cathedral and the Stairway to Bom Jesus are two of the highlights when you visit this city. Enjoy the local gastronomy and wine, that will take you to heaven. Rojões (pork meat) and Pudim Abade de Priscos (convent dessert) paired with a Vinho Verde (green wine) are mandatory.
