Aveiro, the little Venice

This is a full-day tour to Aveiro and coast.

Visit Costa Nova, an old fishing town and beach area in a peninsula/island surrounded by the sea and a lagoon.

The tour proceeds to the center of Aveiro, but stopping first at the sea Salt production fields.

In Aveiro downtown, the canals and the gondolas (Moliceiros) that make it “the Venice of Portugal”.

Vista Alegre (since 1824), the porcelain factory that made all the ceramic sets for the Royal Family is a must visit.

On the way back to Porto you will enjoy the beach area.
