This is the largest farming region in the country with Wine, Olive Oil, Cork fields, Marble, pottery and much more.

Discover Alentejo Wine Region visiting two local wine producers, hear about their history and taste their premium wines. The traditional and rich gastronomy from this region will be present at lunch.

Learn about the Portuguese Wine and the different grapes used by more than 180 producers. The most used are 3 Whites and 8 Reds.
Reds: Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Trincadeira, Alfrocheiro, Aragonez and Castelão
Whites: Antão Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro

What do you know about Cork ? Portugal is the world’s biggest producer and exporter of Cork. In Alentejo is where we produce 55% of all the cork.

This is a great day that we will spend with the locals, family owned wineries and cork producers. A region that says,  “it’s just right there” and it means 30/40min driving.
